A girl from Uttar Pradesh named Pooja Pal has devised a technique that addresses the dust produced during the threshing process in agriculture. Pooja became aware of the respiratory ailments resulting from the release of husk into the air with the use of conventional threshing machines and wanted to solve this issue. With the assistance of a teacher and after many attempts, she created a thresher capable of functioning without releasing dust. Her machine employs water to capture particles of husk, ensuring a cleaner threshing process. With the potential to replace conventional threshers, Pooja’s machine can reduce respiratory ailments among farmers.
