Young Innovators: Tushar Shaw

Tushar Shaw, a young innovator from Bengaluru, is helping improve the lives of visually impaired people with his AI-powered smart glasses called Percevia. The device helps users identify people, objects and obstacles in their surroundings, making it easier and safer to move around independently. Using vibrations and audio prompts, the glasses provide real-time guidance to the wearer. Tushar developed Percevia after working closely with visually impaired individuals to understand their everyday challenges. His thoughtful invention earned him the national winner’s title at the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025 competition.
