- A cathedral in Vasai, Maharashtra, has attained a prestigious honour from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for the conservation work undertaken by local people. The cathedral named Our Lady of Grace was recognised with the 2025 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation’s ‘Award of Merit’.
