Researchers at Northwestern University, USA, have found that different types of animals use the same rhythm pattern while communicating with each other. According to scientists, though the method of communication such as flashing of lights in fireflies and croaking of frogs–varies, these creatures produce signals at almost the same tempo. These communication signals recur within the frequency range of 0.5 to 4 hertz. Scientists believe that creatures could employ this rhythm as the brains of different species interpret data with ease within this range.

DID YOU KNOW?
Sperm whales produce clicking noises known as codas to communicate. Just like how humans talk, scientists believe these creatures modulate the patterns of these sounds to communicate.
