USA and Israel’s conflict with Iran not only affected the three countries, but also led to tensions in the Middle East. The conflict arose mainly because of USA and Israel’s concerns about Iran’s nuclear programme and other long-standing tensions between the countries. The conflict resulted in a severe impact on flight operations, with hundreds of flights being cancelled. UAE helped travellers stranded in the region by paying for their accommodation, flight rebooking and arrangements for their food, reflecting the country’s preparedness to deal with such situations.
