At the 3rd Joint Committee Meeting on Healthcare that took place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi last month, India and Japan discussed ways to enhance their collaboration in the healthcare domain. Co-chaired by Kimi Onoda, Japan’s minister in charge of healthcare policy, and Jagat Prakash Nadda, India’s union health and family welfare minister, the meeting acted as a platform for the countries to highlight their efforts in the healthcare space. The countries held talks to strengthen cooperation for research, innovation and training in the field. The meeting also included talks on non-communicable diseases and technology in healthcare.
