Letter from the Publisher: Wiser and Stronger at 18

A note from our publisher, RK Arora, to mark RobinAge’s 18th Anniversary.

April 2026 marks RobinAge’s coming of age—entering a promising 18th year of publishing. We began in 2008 as a bold initiative to revive the interest of young readers in print media, at a time when excessive television viewing was distracting families across the world.

Today, RobinAge has evolved into a vibrant, new-age platform that engages schoolchildren across India and beyond, instilling awareness, confidence and curiosity through engaging features and current news. Our content spans news from India and the world, science and technology, sports and athletics, environment and nature, wildlife and travel, along with stories, puzzles and creative skill-building activities. Alongside our fortnightly newspaper, the RobinAge Bright Sparks Awards (RBSA) continue to recognise and celebrate the exceptional talent and achievements of our young readers.

In recent times, digital fatigue and the overwhelming presence of devices have sparked a renewed interest in physical, tactile reading. Several advanced nations are recognising the impact of excessive screen exposure on young minds and are encouraging reading and expressive writing habits as essential tools for balanced development. What’s more, we live in a world marked by conflict, environmental challenges, disruptions and growing social insensitivity. In such times, RobinAge strives to nurture readers who are not only informed, but also resilient, compassionate and courageous—young individuals who can contribute towards building a more peaceful, harmonious and sustainable future.

Over the years, RobinAge has connected with two generations of readers—Gen Z and the present Gen Alpha. As our readership continues to grow, we evolve alongside them. With this issue, we are pleased to introduce a refreshed design layout, along with new features across RobinAge and our Jr RobinAge editions, supported by an enhanced digital platform.

We remain committed to informing, engaging and inspiring our readers, while ensuring that the joy of reading a newspaper remains at the heart of the experience.

Greetings and best wishes for continued success!
