To cater to China’s growing aerospace industry, the country is establishing a satellite town close to its capital, Beijing. This town will comprise space companies, satellite manufacturers and other aerospace industry specialists and is expected to ease and expedite aerospace operations. According to experts, constructing a special zone focussed on the industry will integrate talent, strengthen the supply chain and encourage cooperation. This project is expected to significantly support the thriving commercial space sector, which is pursuing several ambitious space-related ventures.
