To be a professor, one must clear:
- Class 12 in any stream
- 3-year bachelor’s degree specialising in one subject
- 2-year master’s degree in the field of specialisation
- PhD in the specialised field
- University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET)
Types of Roles: Professor, researcher, assistant professor, head of the department (HOD) and associate professor.
