To promote tourism in Uttar Pradesh, the state government has launched the Paying Guest scheme, which allows locals to provide paying guest facilities and food to visitors and tourists. This is part of the Navya Ayodhya project, which focuses on transforming Ayodhya into a tourist destination. The Paying Guest scheme focuses on providing accommodation to visitors and giving them a traditional Awadhi culinary experience.
