In our issue dated July 16 to 31, 2026, we asked you if you would prefer to travel by electric, petrol or diesel taxi.
Vidit Rath, a class 3 student from KiiT International School, Bhubaneswar, says:
“I would prefer to travel in an electric taxi because electric taxis do not make any sound and they do not harm the environment.”
Avigyan Paul Choudhury, a class 4 student from Holy Cross School, Agartala, says:
“I would prefer to travel in an electric taxi to reach places that are hard to reach on foot. Using an electric taxi will prevent pollution and keep the environment healthier. In the coming years, if we don’t take care of our surroundings, we will have to wear oxygen masks to survive. So, it should be made mandatory by the government for car companies to introduce more electric vehicles. And if we use public transport, then it’s better for animals and humans and it makes the Earth a healthy and suitable place.”
Kimaaya Gupta, a class 5 student at Anthea Montessori, Hyderabad, says:
“I would prefer to travel in an electric taxi because electric cars don’t run on fossil fuel and don’t produce any harmful emissions. I would also like to promote the usage of such cars.”
