- The Napne Bridge, the first glass bridge in Maharashtra, was inaugurated in July. The bridge, situated in Sindhudurg, is built over the Napne Waterfall.
- The 22mt-long transparent glass structure enables visitors to admire the natural environment, including the water beneath their feet. It also allows people to experience the region’s thriving ecology safely.
- The bridge cost approximately ₹99.63 lakh to build. Its design includes colourful arches, making it visually captivating.
- The bridge was implemented as part of the Sindhuratna Samruddha Yojana. This project aims to draw visitors to the region.
