Scientists have taken a revolutionary step with the creation of a handbag made from a material derived from the enormous Tyrannosaurus rex (T. rex). A creative agency named VML worked with Lab-Grown Leather Limited and The Organoid Company to develop the leather for the iconic bag, which has the potential to replace animal leather. The bag was designed by fashion house Enfin Leve and uses leather created by using collagen obtained from fossils of the T. rex. Showcased at the Art Zoo Museum in the Netherlands, the bag is expected to be auctioned at a price higher than ₹5 crore.

DID YOU KNOW?
A T. rex’s height could reach approximately 20ft.
