To Divide Numbers Ending in 0 by Numbers Ending in 0

To divide numbers ending in zero by numbers ending in zero, remove the same number of zeroes at the end of both numbers. Once the number is simplified, divide.

For example: Take 9,000 ÷ 300Remove two zeroes from the end of both 9,000 and 300. We get 90 and 3.Now, dividing 90 by 3, we get 30.So, 9,000 ÷ 300 = 30Try these for practice:1,08,00 ÷ 1,200 =     ______________28,000 ÷ 800 =     ______________75,000 ÷ 250 =   _______________1,500 ÷ 1
