12-year-old Clovis Hung graduated from Fullerton College in California, USA, with five degrees. He is the youngest person to graduate from the college. He was inspired by Jack Rico, who graduated from Fullerton College at the age of 13 and held the previous record for the college’s youngest graduate. Clovis’ curiosity and maturity prodded his mother to pull him out of traditional public school and place him in the Special Admit Program at Fullerton College at the age of nine years. This programme allowed Clovis to attend the college’s courses and be homeschooled simultaneously. He earned Associate of Arts degrees in social behaviour and self-development, social sciences, history, science and mathematics and arts and human expression. He plans to pursue another degree next year.
