The Department of Forests and Wildlife of Chandigarh has established a ‘Bonsai World’ in the Botanical Garden of Sarangpur, Chandigarh, under the mission, Lifestyle for Environment (LiFE). The bonsai mini garden consists of a collection of 74 bonsai plant species that are up to 35 years of age. The mini garden was inaugurated on May 21, the eve of World Biodiversity Day.
