Young Innovators: Nikhil Lemos

A student named Nikhil Lemos from Gujarat has created a device that reminds people to take their medicines. The device, called ‘Meditel’, is equipped with several features, including a water bottle and an alarm that helps users take their medicines as per the required schedule. The device also helps users organise their doses with the help of a pill organiser, allowing them to take the right medication at the right time with ease. Nikhil’s innovation earned him the Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) award by the Indian government’s Department of Science and Technology (DST).
