Mohammed Azhar Mohiuddin, a 23-year-old entrepreneur, has started a company called Bio Reform, which produces environmentally friendly bags using natural materials such as cellulose and corn waste. These bags are capable of biodegrading in 180 days, significantly decreasing pollution. They are as sturdy as plastic bags and are being used by various businesses. The company manufactures a variety of bags including garbage bags, carry bags and customised bags tailored to meet business requirements. Mohiuddin’s Hyderabad-based company has replaced millions of plastic bags used by businesses across India.
