Zara Rutherford, a 19-year-old Belgian-British aviator, has become the youngest female pilot to fly solo to nearly 30 countries. Rutherford is also the youngest woman to complete a circumnavigation in a cockpit after a five-month journey—it began in August 2021 and ended in January 2022. Both her parents are pilots and her father flew for the British Air Force.
