To foster a healthy learning environment, schools in Greater Noida and Noida have been instructed to limit the use of smart boards and make use of conventional boards more often while teaching. The Gautam Buddha Nagar administration issued this order to control students’ exposure to screens following complaints from parent associations regarding the excessive use of smart boards. Based on the directive, screen time should be limited to 30 minutes and 60 minutes per day for primary and upper primary students, respectively. All schools in the regions have been instructed to only use digital boards as an aid to supplement teaching.
