
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cucumber
- 1 cup curd
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 green chilli
- 1 garlic clove (optional)
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
METHOD
- Roast the mustard and cumin seeds.
- In a mortar and pestle, grind the roasted seeds coarsely with some coriander leaves and the green chilli. You can add a garlic clove too.
- Grate the cucumber and set it aside.
- In a bowl, take the curd and beat it well.
- Now add the ground spices, turmeric powder and salt.
- Squeeze the excess water from the cucumber and add it to the curd.
- Mix everything well.
- Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve.
