Today we celebrate Independence Day,
We remember our country with pride.
Our flag flies high in the sky,
It has three beautiful colours.
Saffron stands for courage,
White stands for peace.
Green stands for growth,
And the Ashoka Chakra shows progress.
Many brave people fought for freedom;
They never gave up because they loved our country deeply.
Because of them, we are free today,
And we thank our freedom fighters.
We respect our soldiers, who keep our country safe,
We help one another, study, and work hard.
We dream of a bright India-
Our nation is strong and beautiful.
