Dawn comes and goes
the sun illuminates the sky,
To light, the black of the night bows
The birds wake up and fly.

The tree stands tall
Its leaves bright green with sunglight,
It hears the babbler’s call
and holds up its nest with all it’s might.

Noon comes, with the sun up high
The tree faces the rays,
The sun is merciless, the tree sighs
The golden monarch is often like this nowadays

Evening sets, a painful day is coming to an end
The sky turns grey with blue invading
The leaves turn black, night’s friend
The last rays of the sun scattering

Night comes late,
and the darkness bliss
with silence it has a date
Nature falls into solitude’s abyss

The tree is black, its darkest tone
Its branches like shrivelled hands,
Reaching for escape for them alone
Its thin twisted fingers grasping the sky

The light shines from the horizon
The rays penetrate the darkness left
Solitude and silence flee at the sight of the sun
they go and hide in darkness’ last cleft

The birds chitter
Awake, the dog’s litter
The tree’s leaves turn bright green now

The pale blue sky,
The tree touching up high
Its dark brown bark
The rustling of the leaves hark!

The tree begins another day
In the middle of hot May.
