India and Norway will enhance cooperation in various fields, including environment-related research, clean energy and initiatives that promote sustainability through the Green Strategic Partnership between the two countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre engaged in bilateral talks centered around the sharing of resources, including technology and skills, during Modi’s visit to Norway in May. The efforts between the countries on environment-related matters include enhancing collaboration for research in the Arctic region, renewable energy, green shipping and carbon capture.
