A woman named Divya Singh from Uttar Pradesh has accomplished a remarkable feat by reaching Everest Base Camp (EBC) on a bicycle. Singh is the first Indian woman to have attained this milestone. The 28-year-old undertook an arduous 14-day journey cycling through challenging landscapes and enduring severe cold. Singh’s journey commenced from Kathmandu on March 16 and included crossing several demanding zones such as Gorakshep and Surke. Singh remained resilient and persistent, eventually reaching EBC, located at an altitude of 17,560ft. Even with meagre resources and minimal support, she completed her tough expedition successfully, serving as an inspiration to numerous adventurers.
