Swedish company IKEA has introduced pieces of furniture that renters can move to new homes more conveniently. The 13 pieces of furniture are part of the company’s Kompishäng collection and include designs that double as other products and are easily portable. The products are made from solid pine, powder-coated steel and durable canvas. Among the most innovative designs are the mattress or pouffe with adjustable shoulder straps, which can be carried like a backpack, stools that fit together like a puzzle that can be used to display items such as books and a hanging wardrobe organiser that converts into a carry bag. The collection also includes mirror frames, which feature slots that can hold photographs. These designs blend creativity, purpose and practicality.
