Balen Shah, an engineer and rapper belonging to Kathmandu, Nepal, scripted history as Nepal’s youngest prime minister. The country’s new government, comprising several young ministers, is expected to transform Nepal’s political environment and also influence its geo-political relations, especially with neighbouring countries like India. Naveen Srivastava, the Ambassador of India to Nepal, held bilateral talks with Shishir Khanal, the new foreign minister of Nepal, paving the way for a strong relationship between the two countries. Additionally, as part of Nepal’s efforts to enhance its foreign relations, Shah met with various heads of diplomatic missions and ambassadors jointly in April.
