Balaji Krishnamurthy was appointed as the new chief financial officer (CFO) of Uber Technologies on February 16, 2026. He steps into the shoes of Prashanth Mahendra-Rajah and will oversee the company’s expansion and global operations. Krishnamurthy has been with Uber for over six years and most recently served as vice president of strategic finance and investor relations. In that role, he helped shape Uber’s financial strategy and worked closely with investors. Holding engineering and MBA degrees, Krishnamurthy is known for his strong financial expertise.
