Choco-pie Hot Chocolate

Warm up on a wintery night with a hot marshmallow choco cuppa.

INGREDIENTS

For 2 Cups

  • ½ litre milk
  • 4 Orion Choco-Pie
  • 1.5 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1.5 tablespoons fresh cream
  • 1.5 tablespoons melted dark chocolate
  • ¼ cup mini marshmallows

METHOD

  • In a non-stick pan, simmer the milk.
  • In a grinder, make a crumble from 4 Choco-Pie by blitzing for 3 to 5 seconds only.
  • Add the crumble to the simmering milk, followed by the cocoa powder, sugar and fresh cream.
  • Add a dollop of melted dark chocolate to the mixture.
  • Stir using a whisk until mixed evenly.
  • Bring to a boil and strain through a thick sieve into 2 cups.
  • Top off with a handful of marshmallows and blow torch them with the help of an adult if you like them toasty and smoky!
  • Savour this delicious, sinful cuppa Choco-Pie Hot Chocolate on a cold day!
