On January 28, Canadian International School (CIS), Bengaluru, hosted its annual inter-school Junior Golf Tournament at Prestige Golfshire, Devanahalli.

On January 28, Canadian International School (CIS), Bengaluru, hosted its annual inter-school Junior Golf Tournament at Prestige Golfshire, Devanahalli. This was the tournament’s 11th edition and saw participation from students of more than 30 schools across India. The tournament comprised more than 50 golfers in the 6 to 18 age bracket, playing across various categories. The tournament gave students a chance to display their talents outside of academics.

Participants from schools including Greenwood High International School, Vidyashilp Academy, Canadian International School, Airaa Academy and Legacy School in Bengaluru emerged as winners. Showcasing remarkable skill across the tournament’s different categories, Prose Edu Academy, Bengaluru, was recognised as the ‘Overall School Winner’. The school was awarded the rolling trophy for its strong and consistent performances.

Shweta Sastri, CIS’s managing director, highlighted the evolution of the tournament and praised the efforts of the participants. She also underscored the importance of the role such events play in the overall development of students.
