An eight-year-old Indian girl named Zarah Ann Gladys created history by becoming the youngest competitor at the World Skateboarding Tour 2024 in Dubai, UAE. The event was held at Dubai Harbour from February 25 to March 3. Zarah, who belongs to Kerala and lives in the UAE, took part in the women’s park skateboarding event and acquired a score of 8.50 in the qualifying round. Out of 63 competitors, Zarah acquired the 61st rank. Zarah began skateboarding when she was four years old and made her international debut at the Rome Park 2023 World Championships in Italy. She has won accolades at several skating competitions in the UAE.
