I sit around silence, thinking what shall I do?
For my exam is over and I don’t have a clue
So foolish of me to be the first one to finish
Now I will have to wait for time to diminish
God, give me a gentle hint
WHAT SHALL I DO?
I try to hold my breath for a minute or two
But the time is not flying, what shall I do?
My back starts killing, sitting on the hard chair
My invigilator stares at me like I have strangled a bear
I stare lazily at the blank faces
Some of them are even tying their laces
Better write a poem about my woes
Time will pass and I’ll see how it goes
God, give me a gentle hint
What shall I do?
