- To enhance the Indian media and entertainment industry and draw investors, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will host the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) in Goa from November 20 to 24.
- Through this international event, the Indian government wishes to strengthen the media and entertainment industry in India and offer Indian creators an international platform to display their work.
- The event will include industry experts and stakeholders from across the world. It aims to encourage collaborations between Indian and international industry leaders and facilitate skill development, information sharing and idea generation.
- The International Film Festival of India is scheduled to take place between November 20 and 28 in Goa.
