Wai wai chatpate is a popular Nepali street food. It is a must-try snack that’s both tangy and crunchy.
INGREDIENTS
1 pack Wai Wai ready-to-eat noodles
½ cup boiled black chickpeas
½ each onion, tomato and cucumber, finely chopped
¼ cup finely chopped coriander leaves
1 green chilli, finely chopped
Sev of choice or puffed rice
Chaat masala, salt and red chilli powder to taste
Taste maker from the noodle packet
Spicy sauce of choice
METHOD
Take a big bowl and crush the Wai Wai noodles into small pieces.
Add the boiled chickpeas and sev or puffed rice.
Add all the chopped vegetables.
Now add all the dry spices, taste maker and sauce.
Mix everything well.
Serve immediately to enjoy the crunch.
