The Jharkhand government has planned to start vocational training in 325 block-level model schools and skill-based training in 80 schools across the state. The government aims at providing employment-oriented education through this initiative. Students will be trained in various fields including home furnishing, media, entertainment and hospitality and tourism. Fieldtrips will be organised for students so that they get on-the-job training in their area of interest, thus enhancing their employment opportunities.
