The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has launched a new project under which tuition classes will be provided to poor students studying from classes 3 to 5. These tuition classes will be held between 5.30 and 7pm in classrooms of BBMP schools across Bengaluru. Study material and other necessities will be provided by NGOs. This project has been launched under the Vidyarthi Belaku Adhyayana Kendra scheme and began on August 15. The project aims to provide underprivileged children with better learning opportunities and assistance with their assignments. If this project works, it will be implemented on a larger scale.
