To cater to passengers travelling with pets, transportation company Uber has introduced the Uber Pet service, which was started in Bengaluru, in Mumbai and Delhi as well. The service allows users to book a ride ahead of time or request a ride immediately, enabling pet owners to journey with their pets such as cats and dogs easily. This initiative will reduce pet owners’ dependence on public transport and help them travel hassle-free. To avail of the service, pet owners can choose the ‘Uber Pet’ option on the Uber application.
