The Proud Princess

Isabelle Abraham, Class 5, Children’s Academy, Thakur Complex, Mumbai

Once, there lived a princess, proud and strong,
If you thought she was kind hearted you are wrong.
She was beautiful and bold,
Yet, her heart was cold.
For anyone she never cared,
Even as a child, her toys, she never shared.
Alas! When the Kingdom and all was lost.
She needed help at any cost.
She approached many,
Neither donated a penny.
She died of starvation, only if she was kind,
People would have fondly remembered her in their hearts and minds.
