We all think we know,
Our lives better than anybody.
But there is someone who sees it all
And it is the old Banyan tree.
It has many generations,
From our grandparents till today.
It has seen many rest
And play under its shade.
It also has emotions,
Just like you & me.
It feels sad when people go,
And when they are back it fills with glee.
It has seen simple days,
And technology till now.
It has seen people on phones,
And simple farmers who plough.
It gave shade for animals,
And place for little kids to play.
After all this is still stays strong,
Till modern, futuristic today!
