In order to enhance smart education, smart digital classrooms have been launched by the Rajasthan government in the Bikaner district. The first phase of the Digital Initiative for Quality Education (DIQE) was inaugurated by Rajasthan’s education minister, BD Kalla. As part of the initiative, 600 smart television sets were fitted in classes of government schools. The DIQE initiative is a part of the Rajasthan government’s plan to develop the digital method of education. All students, including those in areas that face a shortage of teaching staff and books, will be able to connect through this digital system of education. An initiative will also be launched through which donors will be encouraged to donate television sets to such schools.
