A good study schedule strikes the perfect balance between work and relaxation, sets realistic goals and is flexible to meet your unique needs! Let’s see how to create one.

  • Keep Your Goals Clear: Begin by deciding what you would like to accomplish. Divide complex or big tasks into smaller goals that you can manage.
  • Identify Your Best Time to Study: Are you a morning person or a night owl? Plan to study during the times when you feel most alert and focussed.
  • Plan for Breaks: A schedule shouldn’t JUST make you study! Include time for short breaks, meals and activities to rest and recharge.
  • Be Flexible: Not everything goes as planned. Include a buffer period between study sessions to account for any unexpected interruptions or extra time you may need.
  • Track Your Progress: At the end of each day, check off what you’ve completed. This helps you feel accomplished and stay motivated.
  • Include Review Time: Set aside time to revise what you’ve already studied.
  • Don’t Overload Your Day: It’s tempting to fill your schedule with lots of study time, but don’t overload yourself. Keep your schedule realistic and balanced.
  • Stay Consistent: Try to stick to your schedule every day. Consistency is key to building lasting study habits.
