The Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC)-Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) partnered with GENETIKS4U, a project that aims to enhance students’ understanding of genetics, to start an outreach effort called Gyandeep. Gyandeep will educate students studying in Kendriya Vidyalayas in Hyderabad about genetics in a captivating manner. The first session of this initiative took place at CDFD in November and students were taught about different genetic concepts through interactive activities.
