With the help of the Subaru Telescope, which is located in Hawaii, USA, astronomers have discovered strange objects in the region past the Kuiper Belt. According to astronomers, this could indicate the existence of a population of celestial bodies that hasn’t been detected yet. This population is believed to be located beyond what was considered the edge of the Solar System. These objects form an outer ring and lie apart from the Kuiper Belt with a gap in between. Astronomers have been studying the components of the Kuiper Belt called Kuiper Belt Objects (KBOs) to under stand the origin of the Solar System. This discovery will provide them with insights on the Solar System’s evolution and structure.
