Heatherwick Studio, a British design and architecture firm, will transform an artificial island in Seoul, South Korea, into an artistic public park. The uninhabited Nodeul Island located on South Korea’s Han River is set to be transformed into an artistic hub, which will encourage people to connect with nature and each other. The park will be called Soundscape and will have a design inspired by the shape of sound waves and Seoul’s mountains. It will include platforms built at different heights, which will be used to host art-related events and music shows. The park will also include a public beach and an arts centre.
