A Revanth Reddy, Telangana’s chief minister, has instructed officials to take steps to transform government schools across Telangana. Based on Reddy’s directives, government schools will be equipped with many facilities such as solar panels, free electricity, facial recognition attendance systems and digital classrooms. Reddy also directed officials to make provisions for funds for schools and encouraged the involvement of self-help groups with schools to enhance their operations.
