To enhance students’ learning experience and improve their access to online education, the Tamil Nadu government has provided high-speed internet connections to all government schools across the state. With the help of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the government upgraded the internet speed in schools to 100Mbps from 5 to 6Mbps, which is expected to benefit about 46 lakh students. The high-speed internet will enable students to access large files easily, make learning fun and enhance digital education.
