Sandhya Devanathan was appointed as the vice president of Meta India, the parent company of Facebook, on November 17. She will replace Ajit Mohan, who held the position previously and will take up her new role from January 1, 2023. Devanathan, who joined the company in 2016, was instrumental in developing the company’s business in Vietnam and Singapore and is currently the head of the company’s gaming vertical for the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to this, she worked with Citigroup and Standard Chartered. In her new role, she will focus on the alignment of Meta’s business and revenue priorities.
