R Factor FRC Team 6024, a high school robotics team of 14 students from across Mumbai, participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), an international high school robotics competition, in March. The team took part in two events at the regional level in New York, USA, in which they bagged two awards. The team was awarded the Engineering Inspiration award, while Stuti Bhatia from The Cathedral and John Connon School, Mumbai, won the FIRST Dean’s List Finalist award. These achievements helped the team qualify for the FIRST Championship held in Houston, USA, where they went on to win the Gracious Professionalism award.
