An agro-waste start-up unit called The Woman Agro Waste, which has been established by a group of 11 girls at a private college near Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, creates new products out of agricultural waste. They make incense sticks from soya bean flowers and straw and other agricultural waste that is generated during farming activities. This not only reduces pollution, but also benefits farmers by increasing their income.
