An executive of Indian origin named Ravi Ahuja has been named Sony Pictures Entertainment’s (SPE) new president and chief executive officer (CEO). Ahuja, who currently serves as the entertainment company’s president and chief operating officer (COO), will succeed Tony Vinciquerra in the post. Ahuja has been associated with SPE since 2021. He has spearheaded several of the company’s acquisitions and headed the company’s production businesses. Ahuja has also been associated with several other reputed media companies such as Fox Networks Group and Walt Disney Television. He will take charge in his new role on January 2, 2025.
